The St Kilda Festival is probably one of our favourite free music festivals of the year. Now the largest free summer festival, artists from around the country head to the stages of St Kilda to showcase their talent to more than 400,000 attendees across 10 different stages.
Music isn’t the only thing attracting thousands to the shores of St Kilda. Dance classes, food trucks, workshops and performances fill the streets for non stop action throughout the day. The event is both a car free zone as well as a dry zone, to ensure the safest and most enjoyable time for everyone. Don’t get us wrong, all the restaurants, bars and cafes are all open with extended terraces offering discounted beverages, you just won’t be able to bring them outside the designated areas.
