With an hour to spare in the city, we headed to Hairy Little Sista for a quick drink and snack. Located on Little Collins Street, this cafe/bar is a perfect hidden little gem that is quite busy, even in the middle of the afternoon. Their comfy couches, high top bar tables and small outdoor seating area, offer something for everyone.
Their menu focuses on pub food, designed for sharing, which was exactly what we were after. We went with the steak chips with sweet chilli sauce, cheese and sour cream. The chips were crispy and the sweet chilli sauce was oh so amazing!
Daily specials are quite extensive with a variety of sandwiches, soups and mains to choose from. Perfect for the working crowd throughout the week.
A variety of different pastries fill the bar for those looking for something light in the morning with their coffee. Although we passed on the dessert, they did look tasty and will have to come back for a quite coffee and Blueberry and Lemon yoghurt loaf!
