Looking for something sweet for a date with girlfriends, I decided to stop in Laurent Boulangerie Patisserie to purchase some of their beautiful pastries.
The entrance is like no other. Located down the narrow Little Collin’s Street, their grand entrance is like walking into a elegant Paris-style bakery. High ceilings, white walls and a beautiful staircase all add to the beloved decor surrounding their large cabinets showcasing rows upon rows of specialty cakes and pastries.
This is the perfect place to drop into on a cool winters day and enjoy a beautiful coffee and gourmet pastry. The decision on which pastry to go with isn’t an easy one, as they look equally as delicious.
On this occasion I went with the Raspberry Cheesecake, Trio Chocolate, Chocolate Eclair and their beautiful Lemon Meringue Tart. At a price tag of over $7 each, it’s definitely somewhere saved for special occasions.
