Melbourne is always the hub for the best of the best when it comes to anything from food, drinks and events. Milk Cow was no different with getting their feet wet in the Australian market with their first pop up location right in the heart of the Melbourne CBD.
Building a strong foundation in South Korea, Milk Cow has won the hearts of young and old when it comes to their favourite summer time indulgent! Partnering with local suppliers, you’ll find items like chocolate supplied by Naked Truth Chocolates and coffee from Sensory Lab, just to name a few.
ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE
Once we got word that Milk Cow was making a debut in Melbourne, we were the first to jump at the opportunity to check it out! We came within the first few days and there was already a wave of people flocking in and out of the small hidden shop.
The interior of the space is bright and vibrant and super cute! It’s like walking into a child’s dream house with oversized colourful displays of the ice cream available, and of course a visible display of all the delicious goodies that go on to their creative ice creams. We’re talking caramel popcorn, honeycomb, macarons, and mountains of fairy floss!
FOOD
Milk Cow serve up super creamy premium organic soft serve ice cream, which makes you feel slightly less guilty when eating. There are only a hand full of options available, however the decision was still hard when it came to narrowing down the decision to only one!
We decided to go for the Mont Blanc which offered Oreo crumbs, chocolate rocks, Italian apple syrup and a cloud of fairy floss. I must admit, when they say creamy organic soft serve, I never expected the ice cream to be as creamy and delicious as it was! You may have seen numerous photos of the the fairy floss cloud hit Social Media since they opened and it’s any sweet tooth’s dream come true when you are handed the super sized ball of sugar!
We are a bit bummed that Milk Cow is only around for another month until opening their next venture. So if you haven’t popped over yet, there’s still time, with their closing date set for the 31st of May.
