A last minute decision was made to stay near the airport instead of waking up early and heading to the airport to catch our flight. After a quick search, the Sheraton Hotel Toronto Airport was not only the only hotel with direct access to terminal 3, but also had so great reviews.
We weren’t after anything flash, just somewhere to sleep for the night. I was quite surprised when we arrived to a beautiful, modern hotel. When first walking into the hotel, you need to make your way up the escalator to the check in desk. Greeted with a warm and friendly welcome the check in process was quick and effortless.
Our room was simple yet chic with everything you would need for a good nights sleep. We stayed in one of the Club Rooms which offers their Signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper® Bed. I must admit, these are probably the best beds available, which is why you are able to purchase the full Signature Sheraton range. If you need a good night’s sleep before (or after) a long flight, this is where you would want to lay your head to rest.
Some may think that being next to their airport, you would be disturbed by the sound of the planes, however Sheraton have taken the extra step in providing double-pane thermal windows to ensure you are comfortable and wakeup rested.
Sheraton hotels have some of my favourite bathroom amenities with their ‘Bliss Collection’ to ensure everything you need is readily available during your stay. If there is something you forgot to pack and don’t see if laying out in the bathroom, give the front desk a quick call and chances are, they have it waiting for you and it will be at your door within minutes.
The Club Rooms are located on the preferred floors, offering upgraded amenities and complimentary water, wifi and local phone calls for that added bonus of being a loyal member. Having a room here also means you have priority access to the ‘Club Lounge’. Here you will find complimentary continental breakfast and a large selection of beverages and nibbles served at night. Sit back and relax with only a hand full of people before taking off to your next destination.
