When in Miami, it’s only natural to stay near the beach and enjoy the amazing night life this city has to offer. With only one night here, we decided to stay at the Z Ocean Crown Plaza Hotel in South Beach as it had received such high reviews. *The Z Ocean Hotel is part of the Intercontinental group*

We walked into a beautiful small front entrance space, tastefully decorated with a few leather couches, beautiful wall art and a dark wooden front desk. On arrival we were given a glass of champagne to welcome us to the hotel, which was a beautiful unexpected touch.

The front desk service was flawless and extremely helpful. We were given a few complimentary drink vouchers to use in the ‘Breezeway Bar’ located inside the hotel, which we use that same evening before heading out for dinner.

The outdoor Breezeway Area is located to the right of the hotel, which is a beautiful outdoor connection to the hotel. Very ‘Miami’ with a chic vibe of neon lighting, white leather couches, and ceiling fans, this is a great place to unwind or gear up for a night out on the town.  

Our room had been upgraded to their best room in the hotel, which was their King Partial Ocean View with a private rooftop terrace. It seemed too good to be true when we heard this at the front desk, however after walking into the room, we were blown away by how amazing it was. 

Located on their preferred floor, we walked into an immaculate high end suite with a large wet bar, white leather furniture, two separate bathrooms, and two separate terraces, one with a private Jacuzzi.  

The bar was stocked with goodies and beverages for a cost, however within minutes of our arrival, cheese and champagne was brought to the room to welcome us. I must say, we were off to a pretty good start so far!

The suite boasted a luxurious 500 sqft space with king bed, sofa sleeper, full European kitchen with microwave and mini bar and in room safe. A lounge area was separated with a large floor to ceiling TV wall with a TV on both sides to enjoy.

The main bathroom had a beautiful full body rainshower bath that was absolutely amazing! The whole wall was full of jets that sprayed onto you, which was one of the most relaxing showers I’ve ever had.

The second bathroom was more of a powder room with a toilet and sink area (which I used to get ready in).

Moving outside, the first outdoor space was a small terrace area with a table and some chairs. A large spiral stair case led up to the second, more impressive terrace area, that blew everything else out of the water. 

A massive 500 sqft outdoor private rooftop terrace, complete with sun beds, Jacuzzi, and speakers to play music were all available to just us. If you want to use the Jacuzzi, you just call down to the front desk and ask them to have it ready for you. It takes about 30 minutes, however there is a back entrance that the staff use to set up the Jacuzzi with bath salts, towels and water for you to enjoy.
